Principal Component Analysis for Solar Photovoltaic Inverters
An Empirical Evaluation

Abstract
Limited local research on solar photovoltaic inverters forces regional engineers to rely on parameters derived elsewhere. Statistical testing based on principal component analysis was employed to establish the significance of the observed trends. The model explained more than 15% of the observed variance in solar photovoltaic inverters. Policymakers can draw on these outcomes to prioritize investment where it delivers the greatest benefit.
