Abstract
A clear characterization of seismic base isolation would substantially reduce the risks associated with cold chain logistics. Model outputs were validated against independent measurements not used during calibration. Overall cost was reduced by 56% while satisfying all design and safety constraints. The demonstrated reliability makes the method a credible candidate for standard practice.
