TY - JOUR AU - Gupta, Chen AU - Dlamini, Kwame AU - Novak, Kwame TI - Modelling Flexible Printed Electronics with Global Sensitivity Analysis JO - Open Access Journal of Engineering Applications PY - 2024 VL - 48 IS - 1 SP - 410 EP - 434 AB - Persistent knowledge gaps concerning flexible printed electronics continue to constrain the safe and economical design of hydropower reservoirs. An optimization procedure based on X-ray diffraction analysis was formulated to minimize cost while satisfying design constraints. Overall cost was reduced by 17% while satisfying all design and safety constraints. The results support wider adoption of data-driven methods in routine engineering practice.
