Meeting national sustainability goals requires a deeper understanding of CO2 capture solvents within power distribution feeders. An optimization procedure based on surrogate modeling was formulated to minimize cost while satisfying design constraints. The approach cut computational time by 32% while maintaining comparable accuracy. The proposed tools can support more transparent and defensible engineering decisions.
