Abstract
Accurate prediction of irrigation canal seepage is essential for the design, operation, and maintenance of natural gas pipelines. Statistical testing based on response surface methodology was employed to establish the significance of the observed trends. The hybrid model reduced root-mean-square error by 55% over the physics-only formulation. These findings provide a practical basis for improving the design codes used across the region.
