TY - JOUR AU - Nasser, Sofia AU - Rahman, Mahmud AU - Hassan, Nusrat TI - Modelling Smart Grid Demand Response with Statistical Process Control JO - Open Access Journal of Engineering Applications PY - 2026 VL - 50 IS - 1 SP - 945 EP - 949 AB - The interplay between smart grid demand response and long-term reliability in hydropower reservoirs has received comparatively little systematic attention. Simulations were performed with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and verified through a mesh- and time-step-sensitivity study. The proposed controller improved settling time by 46% compared with the baseline. The methodology is transferable to related problems with only modest adaptation.
