Abstract

Despite its practical importance, semiconductor rectifiers has received comparatively little attention in the context of thermal power stations. The method of solution relies on nodal analysis, whose accuracy is assessed against known limiting cases. Measured values of semiconductor rectifiers exceeded the predicted ones by up to 61%. The present study should serve as a starting point for more comprehensive investigations.
