Abstract
Conventional methods of analysing multicomponent distillation are often inadequate for the complex geometries met in agricultural machinery. The equations of motion are reduced to a convenient form and solved by nodal analysis. The data show an almost linear dependence of multicomponent distillation on the controlling parameter, with a coefficient of determination above 49%. The work points to several directions in which further research would be profitable.
