On Power System Stability

Krishnan Okoro Corresponding

Abstract

An understanding of power system stability is fundamental to any rational approach to offshore structures. The analytical work is supported by least-squares regression applied to scaled specimens. A 8-fold improvement in accuracy is obtained relative to the classical treatment. The findings warrant a re-examination of some of the assumptions underlying existing codes.
