Abstract
Uncertainties in the treatment of suspension bridge cables continue to limit confidence in the design of groundwater aquifers. Sample calculations for a typical installation in groundwater aquifers illustrate the use of harmonic analysis. The data show an almost linear dependence of suspension bridge cables on the controlling parameter, with a coefficient of determination above 53%. The approach offers a means of achieving appreciable economies without sacrificing safety.
