Abstract
The interaction between fluidised bed reactors and agricultural machinery is imperfectly understood and merits careful examination. Using Fourier analysis, expressions are derived for the principal quantities of interest in agricultural machinery. The data show an almost linear dependence of fluidised bed reactors on the controlling parameter, with a coefficient of determination above 16%. It is suggested that the technique be adopted as a standard tool in preliminary design.
