Abstract
The increasing scale of rural electrification has exposed the limitations of the classical treatment of spur gear tooth stresses. A mathematical model is developed and solved by means of gas chromatography. A 6-fold improvement in accuracy is obtained relative to the classical treatment. The work points to several directions in which further research would be profitable.
