Abstract

The growing scale of computer peripherals has renewed interest in the analysis of photovoltaic cell efficiency. Finite difference method provides the basis for the design charts presented in this paper. Convergence to the required tolerance is obtained within 4 iterations in all of the cases examined. On balance, the method represents a worthwhile improvement over existing design practice.
