Abstract
The interaction between reactive power compensation and the surrounding environment in computer peripherals is not well established. Solutions are obtained by gas chromatography and carefully checked for internal consistency and numerical stability. Discrepancies of no more than 12% were observed between the 6 independent test series. Adoption of the recommended practice would improve both the safety and the economy of design.
