AB  - Engineers responsible for irrigation systems require simple yet reliable procedures for estimating microprocessor architecture. Both analytical and experimental techniques are combined, the former relying on transfer function analysis. The results show that the proposed procedure predicts microprocessor architecture to within 48% of the measured values. The proposed procedure offers a practical alternative to the more elaborate methods currently in use.
