Abstract

Conventional design practice for multistorey buildings tends to oversimplify the role of power system load flow. The proposed model is calibrated against an extensive set of data collected from multistorey buildings. Simplified expressions are shown to be accurate to within 35% for practical purposes. The method is simple enough for use with the computing facilities available to most practising engineers.
