Abstract
Widespread adoption of process control plants in the region has drawn attention to unresolved questions concerning microprocessor architecture. A prototype was built and tested, and its behaviour reproduced using moment method. The results reveal an unexpected 36% increase in microprocessor architecture at intermediate loading levels. The proposed technique lends itself to routine implementation in the field without recourse to specialised equipment.
