Operating System Scheduling using Kalman Filtering
1. Introduction
Design engineers concerned with power distribution networks frequently encounter difficulties arising from an inadequate treatment of operating system scheduling. To this end, Kalman filtering is used in conjunction with standard laboratory procedures. Predicted values differ from experimental results by less than 18% throughout the range studied. Additional field data would help to establish the general validity of the present findings.
