Abstract
A satisfactory engineering description of pile foundation capacity is essential for the safe design of rural electrification. In this study z-transform analysis is employed to investigate the problem under a range of representative conditions. The proposed model reduces computation time by approximately 33% relative to earlier methods. The results are of direct relevance to conditions prevailing in developing countries.
