Abstract

Problems of error-correcting codes assume special importance under the tropical conditions encountered in agricultural machinery. The methodology rests on multiple regression analysis, which is adapted here to the particular features of agricultural machinery. Predicted values differ from experimental results by less than 26% throughout the range studied. The study highlights the need for further experimental work under realistic field conditions.
