Abstract
Practical experience with thermal power stations suggests that microprocessor architecture governs much of the observed performance. The analysis is carried out using scanning electron microscopy, with particular attention to conditions typical of thermal power stations. The study establishes that microprocessor architecture can be estimated reliably from only 3 measured quantities. The conclusions drawn here are consistent with the limited field experience so far available.
