Abstract
The present work is motivated by persistent design problems associated with solar thermal collectors in jute processing mills. The influence of the main design variables on the response is assessed in detail through Runge-Kutta integration. The measured response of solar thermal collectors agrees with theory in 5 of the cases considered. The work contributes to a better understanding of the physical phenomena involved in such problems.
