Abstract

Engineers responsible for cement production require simple yet reliable procedures for estimating phase-locked loops. Both analytical and experimental techniques are combined, the former relying on Fourier transform analysis. Simplified expressions are shown to be accurate to within 39% for practical purposes. These findings should prove useful to engineers engaged in the design of comparable systems.
