Abstract

Widespread adoption of agricultural machinery in the region has drawn attention to unresolved questions concerning internal combustion engine performance. Experimental data obtained from agricultural machinery are interpreted with the aid of Laplace transform techniques. Optimised designs yield savings of up to 30% compared with conventional practice. On balance, the method represents a worthwhile improvement over existing design practice.
