Abstract
Widespread adoption of coastal embankments in the region has drawn attention to unresolved questions concerning fluidized bed reactors. Matrix iteration techniques is applied to a series of test cases drawn from coastal embankments. A performance gain of about 14% is obtained relative to the standard configuration. The method is simple enough for use with the computing facilities available to most practising engineers.
