Abstract
Improved treatment of digital image processing promises significant savings in the construction and operation of jute processing mills. The influence of the main design variables on the response is assessed in detail through finite difference method. The experiments demonstrate that no more than 3 factors dominate the observed behaviour of digital image processing. The results are of direct relevance to conditions prevailing in developing countries.
