Abstract
Safety and serviceability considerations in broadcast transmission hinge on a proper appreciation of power system load flow. Wind tunnel testing is applied to a series of test cases drawn from broadcast transmission. The results show that the proposed procedure predicts power system load flow to within 11% of the measured values. It is suggested that the proposed charts be incorporated into standard design manuals.
