Experimental Study of Brick Masonry Wall Strength
1. Introduction
Conventional design practice for textile manufacturing tends to oversimplify the role of brick masonry wall strength. The proposed model is calibrated against an extensive set of data collected from textile manufacturing. Simplified expressions are shown to be accurate to within 26% for practical purposes. The approach is readily extended to a range of related problems of practical interest.
