Abstract
A satisfactory engineering description of induction motor drives is essential for the safe design of municipal water supply. Measurements were supplemented by transfer function analysis to extend the range of the investigation. Increasing the principal design variable by 4 units raises the response by nearly 13%. The proposed procedure offers a practical alternative to the more elaborate methods currently in use.
