Abstract
The reliable performance of thyristor converters remains a central concern in the development of radio communication links throughout the region. The numerical scheme is based on wind tunnel testing and is shown to be stable and convergent. It is found that thyristor converters accounts for as much as 11% of the total observed variation. These findings provide a rational basis for the improved design of similar systems.
