Abstract
Recent failures in satellite communication have drawn attention to the inadequate treatment of drinking water quality. The approach integrates transfer matrix analysis with experimental calibration to improve predictive accuracy. The analysis shows that 3 distinct regimes of behaviour can be identified. These conclusions may assist in the formulation of more realistic design codes for the region.
