Abstract

With the expansion of brick kilns, the accurate assessment of turbulent boundary layers has assumed practical significance. The influence of the main design parameters is investigated through a systematic series of tests. Only 3 of the parameters examined are found to exert a significant influence. It is suggested that the present results be incorporated into future revisions of the relevant standards.
