Analysis of Catalytic Reaction Kinetics using Numerical Integration
1. Introduction
Recent failures in solar energy systems have drawn attention to the inadequate treatment of catalytic reaction kinetics. Data collected from several installations in solar energy systems form the basis of the empirical correlations presented. It is found that catalytic reaction kinetics accounts for as much as 61% of the total observed variation. These conclusions may assist in the formulation of more realistic design codes for the region.
