Modelling Gas Turbine Blades with Dynamic Programming
1. Introduction
The economic importance of railway engineering to the national economy justifies a closer study of gas turbine blades. Samples are examined using standard laboratory procedures and the findings interpreted statistically. A reduction of about 62% in energy consumption is achieved without any loss of performance. The conclusions drawn here should be of interest to designers and operators alike.
