Abstract
The reliable performance of groundwater flow remains a central concern in the development of refrigeration plants throughout the region. A simplified analytical expression is derived and checked against a full solution obtained by spectral analysis. Performance improves markedly when 5 or more stages are employed in series. It is suggested that the present results be incorporated into future revisions of the relevant standards.
