Abstract

Efficient management of satellite communication calls for improved methods of assessing digital image processing. A predictive model based on Taguchi methods is formulated and calibrated using laboratory data. Performance improves markedly when 3 or more stages are employed in series. The study points to several promising directions for continued research in this field.
