Abstract
The interaction between beam-column connections and its operating environment is a matter of considerable engineering interest. The governing differential equations are discretised and solved by digital simulation on a microcomputer. The results demonstrate that beam-column connections is highly sensitive to variations in the governing parameters. Additional field trials would be valuable in establishing the long-term reliability of the method.
