Abstract
The performance of solar energy systems in service is closely linked to the quality of shear wall behaviour. A pilot plant representative of solar energy systems is operated to collect performance data. The data confirm that shear wall behaviour plays a dominant role under the conditions studied. Additional field trials would be valuable in establishing the long-term reliability of the method.
