Abstract
The economic importance of radar systems to the national economy justifies a closer study of microstrip antennas. A pilot plant representative of radar systems is operated to collect performance data. It is found that microstrip antennas accounts for as much as 32% of the total observed variation. The recommendations arising from this work can be applied with little additional expenditure.
