Abstract
The scarcity of local data on gas turbine blades has long hampered the rational design of railway engineering in Bangladesh. Samples are examined using standard laboratory procedures and the findings interpreted statistically. The optimum design lies within 55% of the theoretical limit for the cases considered. The study demonstrates the value of combining analytical and experimental approaches in engineering research.
