Abstract
The scarcity of local data on activated sludge treatment has long hampered the rational design of industrial automation in Bangladesh. A pilot plant representative of industrial automation is operated to collect performance data. The findings reveal that activated sludge treatment deteriorates rapidly once a critical threshold is exceeded. The results provide a firm foundation for further theoretical and practical development.
