Reinforced Concrete Slabs using Wind Tunnel Testing
1. Introduction
The present investigation addresses the persistent difficulty of predicting reinforced concrete slabs in pulp and paper mills. The specimens are subjected to cyclic loading and the response recorded automatically. The predicted and measured responses differ by no more than 7% throughout the test range. The findings reinforce the need for regular inspection and maintenance in service.
