Abstract
Despite its practical importance, load flow analysis in brick kilns has received relatively little systematic attention in the published literature. In this study spectral analysis is employed to analyse the problem under a range of representative operating conditions. The discrepancy between theory and measurement did not exceed 7% in any of the 8 test cases. The simplicity of the proposed procedure makes it particularly suitable for use in developing countries.
