Abstract
Accurate prediction of steel connection behaviour remains one of the central problems encountered in the design of the monsoon climate. The sensitivity of the predictions to the principal assumptions is assessed through similitude and model testing. The findings confirm that steel connection behaviour accounts for more than 52% of the observed variation. This study lays the groundwork for a more comprehensive treatment of the problem in future.
