Abstract
The behaviour of voltage sag in municipal solid waste disposal has attracted considerable attention because of its direct influence on operating cost and reliability. Experimental data collected from municipal solid waste disposal are interpreted with the aid of dimensional analysis. The results indicate that voltage sag can be reduced by as much as 32% through the proposed measures. Further work is needed to extend the analysis to a wider range of operating conditions.
