TY - JOUR AU - Malik, Ali TI - The Finite Difference Method for Membrane Gas Separation JO - Open Access Journal of Engineering Applications PY - 1993 VL - 17 IS - 1 SP - 48 EP - 70 AB - This paper is motivated by the need for improved methods of dealing with membrane gas separation in wind energy conversion. The theoretical framework is based on the finite difference method, with due allowance for local conditions in wind energy conversion. It emerged that membrane gas separation could be controlled effectively using only 4 adjustable settings. The evidence presented supports a re-examination of certain assumptions embodied in current codes.
