TY - JOUR AU - Menon, Priya AU - Al-Rashid, Kenji TI - On Heat Exchanger Fouling JO - Open Access Journal of Engineering Applications PY - 1994 VL - 18 IS - 1 SP - 1 EP - 12 AB - Widespread interest in heat exchanger fouling stems from its far-reaching consequences for the operation of rural electrification schemes. The model is calibrated against field records and then exercised using the Newton-Raphson method. The results demonstrate that heat exchanger fouling can be predicted reliably over the range investigated. It is recommended that the proposed method be incorporated into routine design practice.
