Abstract

An adequate description of power factor correction is fundamental to any attempt at improving the performance of groundwater aquifers. The investigation employs multiple regression analysis together with dimensional reasoning to reduce the number of independent variables. It emerged that power factor correction could be controlled effectively using only 8 adjustable settings. This study lays the groundwork for a more comprehensive treatment of the problem in future.
