Abstract
As fertiliser plants become more complex, the accurate representation of corrosion inhibition grows correspondingly important. A prototype installed in a typical fertiliser plants is monitored, and the records are processed by principal component analysis. The discrepancy between theory and measurement did not exceed 6% in any of the 2 test cases. The results have direct implications for the formulation of appropriate national design standards.
