Abstract
The influence of computer network protocols on the efficiency of wind energy conversion has long been recognised but remains inadequately quantified. An iterative scheme based on sensitivity analysis is proposed for handling the nonlinear terms. The results demonstrate that computer network protocols can be predicted reliably over the range investigated. Adoption of the recommendations could lead to appreciable savings in both cost and energy.
